Timing notes

I-270 southbound in the morning and northbound in the evening is among the most congested stretches in the region. Rockville Pike and Route 355 move slowly through the town centers. The ICC provides a dependable eastward link to BWI and I-95, and it is usually the better choice than the Beltway for that airport.
