Washington is a compact city with an outsized calendar. On any given day it hosts hearings, conferences, state visits, galas and games, and each of them changes how traffic moves through the grid. A chauffeur who works the District daily plans around those rhythms rather than reacting to them.

Typical trips

Airport transfers to DCA are short from most of the city; IAD and BWI are longer and deserve a generous margin. Timing notes

Morning and evening rush narrows the bridges and the parkways. Motorcades, demonstrations and street closures around the Mall and the White House can appear with little notice, so the chauffeur checks conditions before every pickup. Evenings around the downtown arena and Nationals Park move slowly at event end.
